Toddlers are curious and eager, and are learning to interact with
their surroundings and their peers. At Days of Wonder, we
provide a safe and nurturing envirnment for them to grow.
On the go

The toddler years are full of energy. Children learn to walk, talk,
solve problems, relate to others and more. At days of Wonder we
give children the room they need to grow and explore. Whether pushing
a truck, pounding clay, repeating a fingerplay, or simply learning
to share, our activities are planned to encourage the development
of motor, social, and language skills.
Tell me a story

Children learn by repetition and imitation. That’s why storytime
is a perfect activity for toddlers. Favorite books are read over
and over again. New books are explored. Children are encouraged
to make up their own stories and to share ideas during Circle Time.
They learn rhymes and songs, develop a love of books and experience
the joys of language, while building important reading and listening
skills.
I can do it

One major task for toddlers is to learn to be independent. At Days
of Wonder, toddlers learn to dress themselves, put away their toys
and use a spoon and fork. Every day toddlers are presented with
new opportunities to learn about the world around them. From fitting
together a simple puzzle, to nesting a set of blocks or climbing
on the playground, a toddler’s day is an exciting journey
of self-discovery.
A break in the action

There is always a break in the action. Each child has his or her own cot
and blanket, and takes a nap every day. And on those days when nothing
goes right, there is always a cuddle close by. A grown-up hand to
hold.
